MG Launches MG5 10th Anniversary Edition. The renowned British brand MG, which is managed by SAIC Motor in China, celebrates the MG5 sedan’s tenth birthday in a grand manner. The MG5, also known as the MG GT, symbolised the brand’s revival following SAIC Motor’s 2007 takeover.

The “10th Anniversary Edition” has been introduced in Thailand to celebrate a decade of the MG5. This special version has visual improvements that add a dash of grace and style while preserving the essence of the original.

The 10th Anniversary Edition is a testimony to style, performance, and enduring automotive brilliance as MG toasts a decade of the MG5 tradition.

Aesthetic Upgrades:

The exterior upgrades include sleek black door handles, emblems, side mirrors, and a recognisable black 10-year badge at the back. New 17-inch black alloy wheels with a special 10th-anniversary logo are mounted on the sedan. The interior maintains the exterior’s black colour scheme and features stunning red stitching on the shift knob, door trimmings, and seats made of black leather.

Four airbags, ABS with EBD and EBA, XDS Cornering Braking Control System, TCS anti-roll system, Hill Assist, Emergency brake system (ESS), Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, ISOFIX seat anchor points, Speed Sensing Door Locks, Automatic safety belts, Rear Occupant Alarm, and an Engine Immobiliser are just a few of the safety features that the MG 5 10th Anniversary Edition prioritises.

A strong 1.5L engine producing 114 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque powers the MG 5. The MG promises a comfortable and effective ride when combined with a CVT automatic gearbox with a programme lock gear ratio and 8 virtual speeds.
