The Q5 45 reached 60 mph in 5.5 seconds on our test track. The plug-in hybrid variant adds an electric motor, increasing output to a combined 362 horses and 369 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, beating the performance-oriented SQ5 Sportback by 0.3 seconds.

Interior
The Q5 has enough room for four adults and plenty of upscale functionalities, even on the base Premium package. The cabin is both quiet at high speeds and simple to enter and exit. More luxury features, such as Audi’s slick Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster, are available as you progress through the three trim levels—Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.
