Yamaha Officially Discontinues Motorcycle Production in Pakistan

Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited recently announced that it is shutting down manufacturing of motorcycles in the country due to a business policy change. It expressed this in an official notification released on Tuesday to appreciate its customers for their encouragement and support over the years.

“In this regard, we wish to inform you that due to a change in our business policy, we will stop manufacturing motorcycles. We sincerely thank you for your longstanding support and loyalty,” the statement said.

Yamaha said that they will continue with the support for aftersales, being in accordance with their policy. They will be supplying the spare parts through YMPK-Retail dealers with sufficient stock to meet the needs. Yamaha was also committed to providing warranty services and support for customers within the provisions of the current warranty scheme.

“The statement added, ‘We will do everything possible to support your motorcycle experience and will remain steadfast and sincere to serve you until the very end.’”
