Xiaomi has built an SU7 EV to compete with Porsche and Tesla. “We want it to be the best-looking, easiest-to-drive, smartest automobile for under half a million, and it must also be of high quality. “This is the dream car we created for our friends,” Lei Jun stated during the unveiling event. “This is a full-size high-performance eco-tech sedan which is 5 metres long, 2 metres wide and has a wheelbase of 3 metres,” he went on to say.

Pricing

In terms of price, Lei Jun said that the ordinary version of the car costs 215,900 yuan (about PKR 8.3 Million) in China. In addition, the car’s Pro and Max variants would cost 245,900 and 299,900 yuan, respectively.

The Xiaomi SU7 is available in nine different hues. Xiaomi previously revealed three colour possibilities for the automobile at the MWC in Barcelona last month. Six more alternatives have been added.

The SU7 features a 220kW rear-wheel drive motor. The E-motor HyperEngine V8s are particularly impressive, with a maximum motor speed of 27,200 rpm, a powerful 425kW output, and a peak torque of 635Nm. Xiaomi had previously stated that this set a global record for E-motors, powering the car from 0-100kmph in 5.3 seconds.

Speed

Meanwhile, the quickest version of the car claims to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and reach a top speed of 265 km/h. The automobile also has dual motors that produce 637 horsepower and 838 Newton metres of turbo power. In addition, SU7 is constructed on an 800-volt architecture, akin to Tesla’s Cybertruck.

Xiaomi’s SU7 also has eye-catching design features, such as slim water drop headlights, halo tail lights, and a unique hidden door handle. Inside, you’ll find a futuristic cockpit with many screens and advanced functions. The automobile runs Xiaomi’s Hyper OS, which integrates easily with the company’s other products such as phones and tablets.

Range

Now, let us discuss about range. Depending on the model, you may anticipate to travel anywhere from 700 to 900 km on one charge. The standard model has a range of 700 kilometres, while the SU7 Pro has an even longer range of 830 kilometres. The SU7 Max has over 900 miles of range.

The interior features a 16.1-inch 3K central console, a 7.1-inch spinning dashboard, and a 56-inch HUD (heads-up display).
