Hyundai Sonata 2023 Price in Pakistan, Specs & Features

Hyundai Sonata Price in Pakistan

Hyundai Sonata 2023 Price in Pakistan. With the eye-catching Sonata, Hyundai injects much-needed colour into an otherwise bland segment: mid-size family cars. The Sonata makes a compelling case with a lineup that includes a well-equipped basic model, a fuel-efficient hybrid, and a 290-hp N Line for thrill seekers who are OK with front-wheel drive. A pair of inline-four engines round out the Sonata’s powertrain lineup, with a 191-hp base engine or a 180-hp turbo for SEL Plus and Limited grades.

The Sonata Hybrid has a gasoline engine that works in tandem with an electric motor to power the front wheels, producing a total of 195 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 51 mpg on the interstate. However, while the Sonata is an impressive value when it comes to price and amenities, its handling leaves it a few blocks behind the quick and lively Honda Accord.

Exterior

The Sonata isn’t the sharpest handling in its class—we like the Honda Accord and Nissan Altima—but it’s nonetheless composed and responsive on the road. The ride is a little more unsettled than we’d like and harsher than most cars in its class, but with its turbocharged 1.6-liter engine, the Sonata is at least decently speedy.

During our testing, a Sonata equipped with that powertrain reached 60 mph in 7.3 seconds, which is a respectable time in this class. The eight-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and precisely. We’d also like to thank Hyundai for keeping a traditional automatic transmission available in its family vehicle.

A large portion of the class has shifted to droning (but efficient) continuously variable automatic gearboxes (CVTs). We loved the Sonata hybrid’s fuel-saving efforts but didn’t like how it didn’t easily transition between gas and electric power sources.

It has a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a motor generator that combine for 192 horsepower. The 290-hp N Line is one of the fastest front-drive vehicles we’ve tested, and it delivers a decent degree of driving excitement. The N Line reached 60 mph in 5.0 seconds, barely a tenth slower than the Honda Civic Type R.

Interior

The interior of the Sonata is appealing and seems more expensive than the sedan’s sticker price suggests. The back seat is roomy and comfy, the materials are expensive, and the dashboard layout is straightforward and ergonomic. The Sonata’s trunk space is roughly average for a mid-size sedan, neither the greatest nor worst in its class. Nonetheless, we were able to fit seven of our carry-on baggage within its trunk, which is plenty of capacity for a long family road trip.

The infotainment system is based on an 8.0-inch touchscreen in the center. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is available in SEL models with the Convenience package, SEL Plus, and Limited versions. Hyundai’s new technological showpiece is the Digital Key feature, which allows users to use Hyundai’s software and their smartphone to unlock the car via near-field communication (NFC) and control various vehicle functions remotely. Drivers would be able to leave the key fob at home if their active lifestyles made carrying one unpleasant.
