Interior
While there are glimpses of Porsche’s sports-car heritage inside the electric sedan, such as a start button on the left side of the steering wheel, there is also a slew of modern high-tech features, such as a digital gauge cluster. The Taycan Cross Turismo comes with a long array of luxurious features and customization possibilities.
The waggon, like the sedan, comes in a normal four-seat configuration or a five-seat version, with the latter adding a small centre seat in the back row. The Cross Turismo has somewhat more front-seat headroom and much more rear-seat headroom than the sedan, thanks to a standard panoramic sunroof and a higher roofline.
Exterior
The Taycan Cross Turismo, of course, is powered entirely by electricity and shares a chassis and other components with its sedan sibling. The waggon, however, is only available with an all-wheel drive. Two electric motors with combined outputs ranging from 469 to 750 horsepower provide power.
Android Auto is now available with Apple CarPlay. Customers can choose personal colours, including those from classic 1990s models, through Porsche’s “Paint to Sample” programme. Better thermal management and charging functions are also available on the ’22 Taycan Cross Turismo, according to Porsche, reducing charging times.
