The long-distance champion is the 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX four-cylinder engine from Isuzu. It has 450Nm of torque and 187 horsepower. The new BT-50 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.6 seconds, despite having much less power on paper than the previous 3.2-liter Ford five-cylinder.
