Exterior
Both a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine and a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder will be offered for the GV70. The base engine is a four-cylinder with 300 horsepower, and the V-6 with 375 horsepower will only be available on the Sport variant. While the G70 sedan’s turbo four is available with a manual transmission, the GV70 will continue to come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
We noticed a definite athleticism during our initial test drive, especially when using the Sport Plus driving mode, and the twin-turbo V-6 pulled strongly. Interior
The GV70’s cabin design is more daring than that of its larger sibling, the GV80, and the exterior’s sweeping lines continue inside for a unified appearance. The interior is lined with high-quality materials, and the finely knurled glass shift knob exudes luxury.
The G70 sedan’s small back seat is a popular complaint, and while the GV70 has extra capacity to provide back-seat passengers more legroom, it is still not very large.
